The Lovevery Commitment is grounded in our commitment to families
We’ve all had those moments as parents: we’re taking in the beauty of the world and find ourselves wondering, “what will this look like for my child?”
The responsibility of taking care of the planet can feel overwhelming and hard. We worry. We ask questions. We try to make changes.
It’s the optimistic curiosity of our children—and our hope for their futures—that drive us toward something brighter and better.
We have a long way to go, and we’ll figure it out together. Ultimately, what we need to know is that we’ve done everything we can to take care of our children. That isn’t so different from taking care of the planet, after all

Sustainability
Our Sustainability Goals:
By 2023: Ensure everything we make has the longest life possible—so it can be passed on to another family or made complete again.
What that means:
Can’t find that missing puzzle piece? No problem: we’re committed to building the best quality products that will last generations (and replacing the little pieces in the process). We will also create a second-hand marketplace for families.
How we’ll get there
By 2025: 90% of the materials used in our products and packaging are made from renewable, biobased, or recycled materials that are verified by third parties.
What that means:
When it comes to their impact on the environment, not all materials are created equal. We already use eco-conscious materials like FSC-certified wood, organic cotton, and bio-based plastic. Material innovation and new technology will help us do even better.
How we’ll get there
By 2030: Achieve net zero carbon in every possible part of our supply chain (and truly understand what that means).
What that means:
This is a big one: for us, “net zero” is a real promise. We know that every product piece, shipment, and employee action results in a carbon emission; everything we do leaves a footprint on the planet. Eliminating the negative effects of our environmental impact is a serious undertaking, and we know we have our work cut out for us. We’ll work with our suppliers to use renewable energy, reduce our transportation emissions, and only rely on offsets when we’ve exhausted all other solutions.
How we’ll get there
Ongoing: Inspire others to join us in asking questions, learning, and taking action.
What that means:
We’re asking a lot of questions—and learning so much—as we make these commitments. “Living sustainably” can feel overwhelming, in the same way that understanding children’s brain development felt overwhelming at first. Yet we know that with the right research, experts, and positive approach, we can make incredible progress—and inspire our community and industry in the process.

Our Offsets at Work
BioLite Improved Stove Program in Uganda
In partnership with 3Degrees
We invest in distributing BioLite HomeStove to Ugandan households to reduce toxic pollutant emissions by 90%. The project also decreases deforestation by reducing reliance on wood for fuel.
Preventing Amazonian Deforestation in Brazil
In partnership with Flexport.org
We invest in the protection of 500,000 acres of tropical rainforest. Clear-cutting this region would have resulted in 12.5 million tons of CO2 emissions.
